  1. In a buy wow gold surprising announcement from Blizzard today, a major change was revealed to Death Knight tanking come World of Warcraft's next expansion, Cataclysm. Death Knights will only have one tanking tree: Blood. Essentially, Ghostcrawler explains that the tri tree was an experiment to see if such talent spreads could also be brought to other classes. Unfortunately, it leaves death knight tanks with no real defining tank abilities in the same way tank specialized warriors or paladins do. We're doing our Cataclysm preview on the death knight changes later this week, but we knew one change risked overshadowing all the others, so we figured we'd go ahead and drop the proverbial Blood bomb today. In Cataclysm, death knights will have a dedicated tanking tree, much like the other three tank classes. That tree will be Blood. We go into more detail in the upcoming preview, but we wanted to take the opportunity to explain the reasoning for such a big change. Why the about face? We actually thought the tank experiment worked out okay. We suspected there would always be a tanking tree, because that the way these things shake out, but we hoped it would be close enough that many players could tank with their favorite tree. When we tried out this design for Wrath of the Lich King, we were using it as a test case to see if we wanted to do similar things with the warrior and paladin talent trees. A lot has happened since that time. We introduced the dual spec feature, allowing players to have a tanking spec and dps spec that they could switch between. We introduced Dungeon Finder, which makes it easier to find players who want to tank, and even let players level up using a dedicated tank spec. In Cataclysm, we are introducing the concept of passive talent tree bonuses and we think that feature is a lot stronger when the talent tree has a particular focus (such as damage, tanking or healing). For example, it safer to give more passive damage to a tanking tree than we can a dps tree. Above all, we were just spending a lot of effort trying to balance three trees (though it was really six trees, since each tree was trying to do two things). It started to feel unfair to the other tank classes that we had to spend so much effort tweaking three types of DK tanks, and it even started to feel unfair to the DK that we couldn focus their tanking experience. One bit of feedback that really struck home was the DK players who said, essentially, look at the Protection tree and I jealous of all of the cool tools they have to help their tanking. As a DK, I have to pick and choose tanking talents from within a sea of dps talents. Rather than have a strong focus, the trees felt a little watered down because they were trying to do so much. With Frost as a dual wield, spell and runic power focused tree, Unholy as a disease and minion focused tree, and Blood as a self healing, defensive cooldown, tanking tree, we think the focus of each tree is a lot clearer and cooler. In Cataclysm, Blood will be the death knight version of a Protection tree. It will have passive talent tree bonuses that reflect tanking. It will have tools, such as a Demo Shout equivalent, necessary for tanking. Several of the more fun tanking talents from Frost and Unholy will be moved into Blood. We will be able to revise (or even remove) clunky mechanics like Rune Strike and focus on letting DKs generate threat with their normal Blood tanking rotation. This is major change, and we understand it will be met with some disappointment from players who really liked the flexibility, those who appreciated the unorthodox talent tree design, or those few of you who really liked Blood dps. Nevertheless, we are convinced that this is the right change for the game. Welcome to join Safewow February Valentine's Day Specail Gifts for every customer. 2. Isn't wow gold love grand? How about friendships or even best friendships? Sure, every relationship has it's problems now and then, but when is enough actually enough? I tested out this very concern, but not by choice! Two years ago I was on a certain social network (later on referred to as SN), which I won't name just in case any "legality" issues arise, when I met a British bloke, John. (Names and places have been changed, also just in case) He seemed nice but I didn't know him and had no intentions of being great friends with him. After all, why would you trust someone from the internet? Over the next week we began chatting on the SN quite regularly and started to become really good friends. We would talk on messenger for six hours every night! Needless to say, we became best friends and fell in love within a month. There's a reason why people always say that "love is blind" because it's true. Love not only blinds you, it also makes you incredibly stupid and even trust people who you should not be trusting. In fact, from my personal experience I should know by now that anytime I fall in love that should be my cue to run in the other direction because that dude is NO good for me! Over the next year John and I continued to talk on messenger every day, for hours on end. Numerous things happened within this year. A month into our friendship I found out that when we met he had a girlfriend and broke up with her the week after we met so that he could be with me. I also found out that he was still living with her because they owned a house together and were in the process of fixing it up so they could sell it. He claimed it was his house too so why should he move? This probably should have tipped me off right there! The month after that I officially had an "internet boyfriend" (hence the stupidity). Usually I meet men in person through activities and such or at work so this was definitely a first for me. Eventually he started to be mean to me and he started to make me feel bad about myself. When I talked to him about this he made an effort to change and said he only did it out of boredom. Yes, the behavior did change. A little. Of course, the way things work with men is that they are only nice long enough to get you emotionally invested. Once you fall in love with them they know they can treat you like crap and that, most likely, you'll take it. During all of this he was telling me that he loved me and that he thought we were soulmates (more ways they trap you) and that he couldn't wait to be with me. He even talked about marrying me! After knowing each other for a year I got a visa, booked a flight and lived in England for six months to be with him. Seriously the biggest mistake of my life! Everything was great the first three weeks. I stayed at a hostel for the first two weeks while I arranged to rent a room from someone. He was still living in the same house with his ex. I believed him when he promised me that nothing was going on between them and that she had a boyfriend. After all, he was my best friend. If there's one person you never expect to lie to you it's your best friend! We traveled around the local areas of the part of England that we were in. Saw some sights, museums, etc. I moved out of the room that I was renting from the crazy lady and to another place on the other side of town, closer to my bloke's place. I saw him regularly until a few months before my scheduled flight to return home. He started being distant, I rarely saw him. The house finally got sold and he moved in with his sister. He and his sister don't get along and he hated it there so he would spend the night at my place every night. This was basically the only time I got to see him. I was only back home for two months when he flew out from England for my birthday and to spend six weeks with me because he missed me. Or so he claimed. We did some traveling around the state I live in and then all of a sudden, after three weeks he suddenly announced that he was going to spend the next three weeks of his trip traveling around to other states without me! And he did. I saw him for a few days before he flew back to England. That was about it. He had called me almost frequently after he left NYC (he was too busy partying instead of sightseeing). During that whole time he was still telling me that he loved me and missed me. After he arrived back in England we talked a little bit on messenger. After he arrived home. That's when all Hell broke loose. First it started with unusual behavior. He unfriended me on the SN and told me that we didn't need to be friends on it because we couldn't talk as much as we used to and we could just talk on messenger or through email. The last time he pulled a similar stunt (making me unfriend his family on the SN and him friending me on a fake account) it was because his ex had joined and he felt obligated to be her friend on there. He said he didn't want her to know about me because she's a psycho bitch and she would cause financial problems for him since they still owned two other houses together. And this time turned out to be no different. He unfriended me so that he could be friends with her on the SN. I can't say how I found out the following information but believe me when I say that I was stunned. I found out that he and his ex had previously had Chlamydia. Of course, I didn't know the time frame so I didn't know if this was before our relationship or during. I immediately scheduled an appointment with my OBGYN to get tested. Then I confronted him about it. I demanded to know the truth and I got it. He told me that he had been sleeping with his ex and others before I got to England, while I was in England and even after I had left England. He also told me that he had sex with two women over the weekend. I told him exactly what I thought of him. I told him how disgusting and sleazy I thought he was. I was so disappointed and heartbroken that he had been lying to me the whole time. It felt like everything we had been through together meant nothing to him! And you already know what his excuse was. "I lied to you because I didn't want to hurt you." No, he lied because he didn't want to get caught and didn't want me to know what scum he is! So he assured me that the Chlamydia incident was before me. Six months before I got to England, which does confirm that he was still screwing his ex and everyone else on the planet! There was no reason for me to believe anything he said now so I still went and got tested. Let me remind you, he is the only man I've ever had sex with. It factors into how lame he is. While I was waiting for my results to come back from the OBGYN we still talked on occasion about it and some other things. Mostly because I told him that I couldn't be friends with him anymore and this made him suddenly want to be friends again. So I talked to him for that reason alone, to give him a chance to actually be my friend. He told me that he liked the way he was and that he wasn't that bad and that he didn't want to change and didn't think he could change. He also tried to be all cute and loving and I told him to stop telling me that he loves me, to stop telling me that he missed me and I reminded him what I thought of him. I asked him why he would miss me when he has plenty of other girls to keep him busy. He said, "It's not the same as you." 4. You can buy wow gold go wrong with most of Nintendo brilliant but family friendly catalogue, whether for Wii U or 3DS. But if you are looking for something for the sprogs on Xbox or PlayStation and if your wallet can put up with the pestering, the coming to life genre is in rude health. Skylanders: Trap Team is a cracking game full of Saturday morning cartoon flair, the new figures are well crafted and the traps that allow you to contain villains add a nice twist. Disney Infinity 2.0, meanwhile, has a focus on Marvel super heroes as well as your house of mouse favourites. The game itself isn as good as Skylanders, but the Toy Box building mode provides an accessible creative outlet. Video game horror saw a small renaissance this autumn. Alien: Isolation is a brave and faithful interpretation of Ridley Scott original monster. Terrifying, uncompromising and enormously stressful, it is not a game for everyone, but you have to admire its purity. For a more action lead but no less intense experience, Shinji Mikami gruesome The Evil Within is a terrific return to form for Resident Evil style survival horror. For the shooter The most popular genre in video games has had a rather fascinating year. The big budget Destiny is one of the more ambitious titles of the new generation, blending Bungie kinetic action with the looting and raiding of MMOs like World of Warcraft. Its world and lore will only get bigger. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare gives a futuristic twist to the industry most bankable franchise, with its exo suits and other gadgetry making it the freshest CoD in several years. Bethesda and MachineGames take on an FPS classic Wolfenstein: The New Order is one of the surprises of the year, with design smarts and a narrative drive you may not expect. Meanwhile, the Tibetan set Far Cry 4 is a beautiful, expansive and engrossing open world shooter. Plus you can ride an elephant. For the petrol head Xbox One exclusive Forza Horizon 2 is undoubtedly the best driving game of the year, a raucous open world racer that lets you sling a variety of beautiful cars around a Southern European setting. You will not find a racing game as infectiously joyous. If you are a PlayStation 4 car aficionado then the socially connected DriveClub has you joining teams and facing rivals in races and other driving challenges. For a grimier, more aggressive ride, Ubisoft The Crew has you driving cars across the breadth of the United States is this persistent online racer. The next generation Grand Theft Auto V is a sprucing up of an already momentous technological feat, with more activities, radio stations and a transformative first person mode. Naughty Dog critically lauded post apocalyptic drama The Last of Us is now on PlayStation 4 as a superb Remastered version. There are also versions of Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs. For the more complete nostalgia trip, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a generous offering of four of the most influential sci fi shooters ever made collected in one Xbox One package. Curation done right. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, meanwhile, are ground up 3DS remakes of the 2002 Game Boy Advanced titles. Nintendo console has been a slow starter, but is now becoming increasingly essential, particularly for those looking to play multiplayer in the same room as their pals. Mario Kart 8 is Nintendo famous racing series at its very best, with whirling, dynamic tracks, precise control and a wilfully chaotic soul. Super Smash Bros for Wii U pulls a similar trick, only with Mario and chums beating seven bells out of each other instead of racing. For the sports nut As ever in the UK, the big contest here is between the mainstream football games. Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 sees Konami series back to its best, with arguably the finest mechanical representation of football ever crafted. FIFA 15, while perhaps not as good on the pitch, is a more complete package with its authentic kits, glitzy presentation and myriad game modes. If you prefer to manage form your armchair rather than play, Football Manager 2015 is as compelling as ever. Away from the national game, Madden NFL 15 offers an excellent gateway into american football. The visually stunning NBA 2K15 is basketball at its best, while EA Sports UFC makes a decent fist of representing the brutal sport. Both of which you can get in a Wii U double pack. 6. TONY buy cheap wow gold EASTLEY: In less than a year the Socceroos will head to South Africa to take another shot at World Cup glory. But this week, one young Australian will have a chance to take home a virtual version of the World Cup trophy. Twenty one year old Dimitri Bescos is among a team of seven Australians travelling to China to play in the World Cyber Games. The annual computer game olympics might attract geeks rather than athletes, but it's serious business, with big money and national pride at stake. The 21 year old will be taking the field for Australia this week in the south western Chinese city of Chengdu. But this is no ordinary soccer tournament. The 64 team World Cup won't require any players to lace up a boot instead they'll be scoring goals from the keyboard. DIMITRI BESCOS: Your heart's probably a million miles an hour. I can't explain the adrenalin rush. Just want to get in there and play, start playing. BILL BIRTLES: Bescos will be representing Australia in the popular soccer computer game Fifa, but it's not the only game being played. A further six Australians, all men, will play other titles, including World of Warcraft and the music game Guitar Hero. Up for grabs are tens of thousands of dollars and the possibility of playing computer games professionally. DIMITRI BESCOS: Australia is growing as a PC nation and gaming nation and I just don't think people hear it as much. You know it's not on the media or anything like that. BILL BIRTLES: Bescos's mother, Niki, has been concerned in the build up to the tournament about the amount of her time her son spends in front of the screen. NIKI BESCOS: Uh, he's been practising a bit every night, not a lot because he has had a real hectic social life lately, but he's been doing his best BILL BIRTLES: For him to win, he'll have to beat the cream of the crop of the world's gaming community, including the legendary Schellhase brothers. The 23 year old German twins have won multiple soccer tournaments at the World Cyber Games in recent years, and one of them, Dennis says expectations are high. DENNIS SCHELLHASE: Well, of course everybody says my brother and me are the favourites now but I think there are lots of countries which have good players. BILL BIRTLES: Although he doesn't have the experience or a professional gaming career, Schellhase says Bescos could have a shot at virtual World Cup glory. DENNIS SCHELLHASE: If you cool down and not so under pressure, I think you can go farther. If you think, oh I'm nervous, I'm afraid. That is not a good attitude. BILL BIRTLES: And if the young Australian's shot at virtual glory falls short in China, he says he won't be too upset. DIMITRI BESCOS: I don't think every gamer's a geek, I don't call myself a geek. I think if you have got a life outside the computer as well, you're pretty much, you're right. Welcome to using 5% off code "WOW7L" buying WOW GOLD US/EU on safewow.com safely with fast delivery now! 7. Congratulations wow cheap gold to David Perkins, who has won a shiny new PlayStation 3 console for his first Your Turn contribution to Screen Play. David, a 25 year old Scottish emigrant who now works at the Melbourne museum, won the prize for his thoughts on the rude and obnoxious gamers that too often spoil his fun while playing online. The best blog post published on Screen Play each month (as judged by Jason Hill) wins a PS3 console courtesy of Sony Computer Entertainment, worth $699. Articles can cover any topic related to interactive entertainment. I look forward to reading your entries. Sucker Punch game director Nate Fox is a playful guy. He's created three fun Sly Raccoon games, likes to trash talk to stir up rival game developers, and even likes to spice up media presentations for his upcoming superhero caper inFamous with a private joke. Before Screen Play's presentation on the game, Nate asks me quietly for three random words. I oblige, and Nate promises he will surreptitiously insert the obscure words into his formal presentation. The amusing game is constructed entirely for my benefit, and seems indicative of the sense of playfulness and adventure that the Seattle based Sucker Punch has for their work. InFamous, due for release in Australia on PlayStation 3 in June, should be one of the highlights of the gaming year, offering an electrifying playground to romp around and a stronger narrative than Xbox 360 gem Crackdown, arguably it's closest cousin. Nate begins the presentation by saying he is excited to be launching a "new character and a new experience" following sales of four million Sly Raccoon games. "As you might imagine, we're big fans of graphic novels and we wanted to make a superhero game from the ground up that works really well as a video game first and foremost. InFamous is a game that will give you the feeling of being a modern day superhero." The game begins with Empire City "rocked to the core" a mysterious explosion that levels six square blocks of the city, with the game's protagonist Cole walking away from the blast with his life changed forever. "That's the event, the tragedy, with thousands of lives lost," says Nate. "The camera pulls in on this crater of destruction and standing right in the middle of it is this guy getting up. Then you're playing the game. You get to experience Cole's experience in full as he gets out of this scene of destruction and comes to understand what is happening to Empire City." Early in the game Cole is desperate to get some food, as people in the city are already starving, but his situation soon becomes much worse than it already is. "There is some footage with what seems to be the explosive device that took out the city," Nate explains, and Cole was the courier holding it. "Cole is branded a terrorist, so is hated, loathed. They (the general public) will attack you. They like to hurl rocks to deck you. So you will not only go from 'zero to hero' but from a really hated person to a hero, if you choose to do that." In addition to graphic novels like Batman: No Man's Land and DMZ, Nate's experience of getting caught up in the 1999 Seattle riots triggered by the World Trade Organisation Conference was pivotal to the game. "I found myself in that riot," Nate explains, "and it was really interesting because when we were getting tear gassed, people around me were breaking into windows and stuff, there are no cops, you are not going to get arrested being a jerk, so a lot of people around me were offering me food, water to wash out my eyes, people don't do that in everyday life, right? In this place where there were no consequences, people are still very kind. It made me think about what would exist in this game world when people are operating in a more base level." Like the popular television program Heroes, the game superimposes extraordinary powers on top of a realistic world. In Cole's case, he discovers after the blast that he has been transformed and has amazing electrical powers. "There you are, an everyday Joe, and you get powers," says Nate. "What's going through your head? Am I crazy? Am I sick? How will people react to you? "The first thing is, you probably won't buy a cape and a giant belt buckle. As good as you might look in one, you probably wouldn't do it. Also, you would become the focus of a lot of people's attention. You become a celebrity, right? Or if you were a jerk with your powers, like I am, you become hated inFamous in the world." Nate says it's no secret that most people will be attracted to the game because of the "really cool superpowers". "So of course from the beginning of the game you can do things like chuck cars around (with electromagnetic bursts). And of course you can use your powers to take people alive, using electricity to incapacitate the enemy as opposed to killing them outright. "You can choose to be a nice guy or a total jerk. And of course you also have more destructive powers, like hurling charged objects that take out everyone around." You can also hurl electrical grenades and charge up otherwise inoperative railroads. Train surfing looks heaps of fun, and is an opportunity to take out foes using creative methods. A power grid has been modelled for Empire City, validating Nate's claim that "we're going very deep on this electrical superhero theme". "Cole can gain extra energy for his heavier powers by sucking juice out of the system, which is a good idea because you never know what you're going to have to face in Empire City. Large portions of the city have blackouts, and Cole can't regenerate his health here, or get more juice for his powers." How you play the game affects how you can upgrade your powers. Basic powers like an electro magnetic push change if you're acting as "a virtuous person" or "a total jerk" according to Nate. "Each power can be upgraded over the course of the game, and we give you a ton of new powers. It's really nice to get a new toy to play with." Just don't expect to be handling weapons, as Cole's electrical energy would cause them to explode in his hands, but they are unlikely to be missed. Nate says it was clear from the outset that the game had to be an open world, or "sandbox", but despite the superpowers his team were determined to make it feel more realistic than other games in the genre. "We're making an open world sandbox city where it's full of people that remember what you do to them. If you treat people in the city badly they will remember. "Unlike a lot of games where it's just you versus the military, here the streets are always crowded with people. There are innocent people who you can obviously try to protect or just indiscriminately murder, if that's your angle. "Like an ER doctor, Cole can also use his electrical powers as a defibrillator to bring people back (from the dead) and they are going to remember that the population that might have been trying to stone you to death might stop hating your ass. What you do has consequences." Moreover, Nate says the city itself is "alive with something we call the crime ecology". "I don't know if you guys have ever gone for a walk in the jungle, I have, it's very scary, there are snakes, jaguars, scary st all around you. You don't know where it is, but you know it's there. That's what going for a walk in Empire City is like." Nate describes the map of the city as like a Risk board with different territories controlled by different groups. "We have these different gangs who are at war with each other and there are outside factions that you come to understand as the game progresses. It's not just the world against you.
