  1. thanks for the welcome macca, I am driving a nissan qq at the moment but the kids have gone off to uni now so a slightly smaller vehicle is in order and the Q2 is one I have in mind, hopefully it will be out earlier rather than later in 2016, nice looking forum BTW
  2. The 2017 Audi Q2 will ride on a shortened version of the flexible MQB platform and is set to employ a standard front-wheel drive layout, but more expensive variants with stronger engines will have a quattro AWD setup. Audi wants to grab the attention of youngsters with their petite crossover that is estimated to kick off at around €25,000, thus making it a lot more expensive than the €17,800 A1 Sportback. It will be powered by an array of three- and four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines and could spawn a 231 PS 2.0-liter twin-turbodiesel SQ1 along with a flagship RS Q1 featuring a 300 PS 2.0 TFSI turbocharged gasoline unit while a more frugal plug-in hybrid is also on the agenda. Following its reveal in Geneva, the Audi Q2 will go on sale in the second half of the year as a 2017MY.
  3. That’s the word from Audi’s Ulrich Hackenberg, who told Indian Autos Blog that the vehicle will make its public debut at the next Swiss auto show. Hackenberg also confirmed that the crossover will wear a Q2 badge. Initial reports said the vehicle will be named Q1 as the rights to the Q2 name were owned by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles , which used it for a front axle differential in the past. It appears the conflict was settled and Audi will use the Q2 moniker.
  4. If the finished article is anywhere near as good looking as this, the new Q2 could well get a new owner here, I admit though I'm a sucker for an Audi, always great quality and nice to drive.
  5. Just a quick sign in to fellow members, just looking at the Q2 as a possible addition to the driveway, same as you, or you wouldn't be here would you already some great info here, so keep up the good work guys and girls!
